1 - 11 might be extreme but that is definitely one of our top priorities this year.

Because he's coming off of a 30 touchdown year.

TO ATL:

Great, that was good enough for three beatdowns to Kentucky, Missouri and Georgia last year so hopefully he can improve on those numbers.

Literally the same article is written about him every single year, is there no time to actually "put up" and "shut up"?

Franks couldn’t hit passes on air in practice his two years with Mac. That’s a fact.

Who the frick cares how people practice if they consistently look lost when the bullets start to fly? Scrimmages and Games are bullets flying.

In my defense, I would much rather talk about real games and even simulated games than outright practice because, as I've pointed out:

We always get these puff pieces about Franks. He's gotten better, he's amazing, different year different guy etc. etc..

I have to wonder what's going to happen here if Trask looks better during the Spring Game this year like he did last year?

I fully expect Franks to win -- he's had everything in his favor and is playing with a major leg up above Trask so he should (rightfully) clean his clock.

The O-line, safety, tight end are my biggest concerns.

I’m actually not concerned at all about tight ends. In fact, I think we’re so good there that we moved Pitts from tight end to a loaded wide receiver group. Between Krull, Gamble, and bringing in Zipperer, were good there. Plus Pitts likely playing some there still.

Safety, I’m comfortable with brad Stewart if he’s healthy and out of trouble. I feel good with the reports about Huggins and Stiner too. I’m not super high on Jeawon Taylor either. Hopefully that second safety spot gets itself worked out. I’m sure it will.

OL is a crapshoot and we won’t truly know for the spring game or through fall camp. I like what we’ve been hearing but we need to stay healthy. We’ll find out around 8:30 on August 24th

the Spring Game this year like he did last year?

Just like last year, the spring game means nothing. It’s a showcase for the fans and a light hearted, fun day. It means very little when there’s old guys catching touchdown passes in street clothes.

It means a lot when the wrong guy catches the touchdown because Feleipe forgot it was a trick play.

Did Missouri mean nothing, too? All of the scrimmages? It's almost painful to watch.

Franks needs to stay off social media. Period. I truly believe a lot of his problems would go away if he didn't care what anyone else thinks.

It would be a lot easier to take how he plays if he wasn't so insecure. The worst part is that Mullen consistently said all last year: I just wish "they" would stay off of social media.

If he just ignores the hate, focuses on football and listens to Mullen he can do amazing things.

Tomorrow we see if he actually learned something.

McElwain > Straws.

Doesn't mean they're infallible and can't be wrong about something.

Mullen was frick all wrong about Russell and Prescott, too.

I'm not even saying he's wrong, he's right to do what he thinks is best for the team. I just feel like we might have wasted a lot of time trying to make a lemon into lemonade.

We'll find out for sure tomorrow.

No we will not. We will not find out until August. Spring game is still a practice.

He was a retard as a HC. Especially at the end.

He knows more about football than you ever will, what right do you have to say he doesn't know what he's doing?

See what I'm doing here?

Then how did I predict from the Spring Game that Trask would be more of a downfield threat than Franks, that was soon evidenced in the Missouri game?

Blind luck?

Perine
Toney
Krull
Grimes
Jefferson

Wilson and Henderson are on the same squad. No where near equal teams.

Trask sucks. He has been passed on the depth chart.

The Mizzou game you speak of was not good for him. Every time Mizzou got within 10 feet of him, he was throwing off his back foot. That would to INTs.

You are becoming TJ like in your posting.

I know you’re tired of this back and forth (WE ALL ARE), but Trask doesn’t suck. I think he would be more than serviceable.
I think Franks will improve like a lot of QBs do that benefit from being in the same system for more than a year and having Mullen as coach.
My biggest hope is that Franks stays focused on the game and not on anything outside of the white lines on the field. That may be his biggest obstacle.

Prediction. Franks and Jones will have solid plays with a maybe bad / off time throw here n there. Trask will come off the bench late vs the other 2nd stringers and make a few good throws and we’ll be stuck hearing the same shite till the season opener.

There. Just saved everyone 4 months of drama :)
