From a weekend ban for posting a picture of Mike the Tiger on a hospital bed with the caption “live look at LSU’s basketball program” after we beat them Friday.
Disappointed in how soft the rant is when it comes to LSU.

Like Andy Dufrane when he left solitary. Easiest time ever done.

Let me catch you up on what you missed on the Gator board.
Mullen can't recruit
Franks will lose the starting QB job to Trask
Mike White can't coach
We still own LSU in all major sports!
only one of these is true

Hah. I spent Thursday and Saturday in Gainesville at open practices and I will say this...
Feleipe is our guy. He’s the guy. He will be a first round draft pick next year. I promise.
Our OL is not good right now. Very young, and very inconsistent.
Emory is thick and has the look of a very athletic guy. He showed good accuracy and decision making. Still has a tendency of taking off and running a little early.
Jalon Jones will never play a snap at QB for UF. He looks like a walk on throwing the ball. It’s not great. I trust Mullen to get everything out of him, but his throwing motion is very unnatural looking, very erratic accuracy, and his frame is skinny (albeit he is a kid and will certainly thicken up some). I don’t see him becoming anything more than Nick Fitzgerald throwing the ball. Was hoping I’d be more impressed with him.
Also, we have some specimens. Lucas Krull, Trevon Grimes, and Kyle Pitts look phenomenal. They’re huge. They make 6’2 Van Jefferson look like a slot receiver. Very impressive group.
Defensively, Andrew Chatfield has put on a ton of muscle. Greenard is a big dude and displayed good athleticism. I love Amari Burney, he’s such a weapon on defense. Can play at all 3 levels of the defense. Trey Dean has taken over Chauncey’s spot and is doing it nicely in his play and in his trash talk. Loved his presence out there. Great time overall and excited about everything I saw save for the OL.
Also, I thought we were repping a lot of quick plays and tempo, perhaps an indication of how Mullen is planning on adjusting to having a questionable OL this year.

This is concerning.
The OL doesn't surprise me at this point. A lot of youth and inexperience.
Miami (regardless of their coaching and program situation) will be a challenge for this OL.

I think it is clear that OL will be a weakness. UF needs OLs to step up from the 2017 and 2018 class.
I do expect Hevesy to make the OL situation work and Mullen to scheme around it.
This time last year, I had serious doubts about the OL as well. I only viewed Taylor as a solid contributor.

The encouraging thing about the OL is that there have been names popping up of guys stepping up. Nobody stood out in person, but I’ve seen people speaking highly of Jean Delance at one of the tackle spots and Eguakon the early enrollee from Sandalwood looking good at guard opposite of Heggie.
Another encouraging thing is that our offensive line improved greatly from our season opener last year through the Michigan game. We have guys that have been learning and in the program with a full offseason, and Hev has proven he can coach them up. I trust that they’ll be serviceable and that Mullen can scheme around an OK offensive line. It might make us inconsistent and somewhat frustrating at times, but that’s the nature of growing pains when you’re young there.
Also, I’m not super concerned about Jalon Jones because we have Feleipe this year, Emory two years after that, then Anthony Richardson will be a redshirt sophomore when it’s his time to take over. I’m not panicked about Jalon because I think he gets recruited over. I’ll be more concerned if Richardson ends up elsewhere, but I don’t see that happening honestly.

Online wont be as bad as some think. We have one of the better line coaches in the nation,as well as a premier S&C program. Add in we dont face really good defensive lines for awhile into the schedule. We should be fine. Miami game will be fun to go to. Miami fans are usually 30-4p year old white males who still wear football jerseys and chains. Always fun to mess with the mid life crisis hood wanna be group.

Miami has a good front 7. They’ll present a challenge. I think we’re much better than them though, regardless. Apparently Florida sold out their allotment and then some.

Just to put this into perspective:
Florida has a coach who has 10 years of experience.
He is known for being an absolute QB wizard.
He has completely changed the culture of the team.
This is his second year with the team.
He has not neglected defense in spite of being an O HC.
He has an entire off-season to prepare for Miami.
Miami has a coach with zero years of experience (HC).
They have a coach who's decent with QBs.
However, that QB will not practice for more than six months with the new team.
The HC has never even attempted to run an offense.
Their offense is the worst part of their team.
Miami averaged a 35% completion rate to end the year, just to put how bad they were at the QB position.
It took Mullen almost the entire season to transform Franks, and even at the end of the season he still had a very weak sub 200 yard game. So to come in with a new HC, new QB, new offense and have to play a team that's gelling as well as Florida is, coming off of a huge 10-win season...
I think Florida beats Miami so badly that they'll want to start scheduling a series to get back at us. The only way they stay in this game is if we absolutely shite the bed against them, which while possible I just don't see it happening.
42 - 10 Florida.

Later in the 11-on-11 period, Franks lined up with the second-team offensive line and one of the first snaps resulted in defensive end Zachary Carter beating freshman guard Ethan White inside for an easy sack on Franks.
Carter simply wrapped up Franks in a light bear hug, keeping him on his feet like he was supposed to in thud tempo. Franks didn't take too kindly to the contact, shoving Carter away.
The redshirt sophomore defensive end playfully tapped Franks back on the helmet, which only further infuriated Franks. Franks took the football and beamed it at Carter's helmet, causing a handful of defensive linemen to charge in and defend Carter as the offensive line went to defend Franks. The group was quickly split up by coaches.

TJ Slaton is finishing these gassers ahead of some defensive backs. He looks much more fit than just a few weeks ago.

Franks with the SEC spirals today. Have barely seen him miss a target and vision is pretty close to 20/20. @InsideTheGators

Brian Edwards is having himself a day at #Gators practice

Really want this to be a breakout year for Slaton. We really need some interior men to step up.
And Trask is still a little slow on release, but I think that's why he's always considered the most accurate of the QBs. Just overthinking the routes.

We'll say this: The first-team offensive line probably isn't quite as far behind as we expected early on this spring. That's the good news.
The bad news is right now Florida sure as heck better stay healthy because the second-team offensive line is pretty close to a disaster. Having said that, there is plenty of time for those guys to develop and it's not at all unexpected right now given the fact that essentially three true freshmen are starting on that unit right now, as well as one redshirt freshman.
