Yep. Tackling swift is critical, he's just that good. That said, if we contain him well we'll do well. I don't think Fromm is good enough (At least what he's shown) to win it by himself, though is a good QB.

Trask will need to play well, though.

I feel confident for UF but UGA is tough and it'll be fun.

Swift is the best back in the country and I wouldn't listen to an argument saying otherwise besides Taylor at Wisconsin. We have to contain him all game.

Swift is as good as Taylor, did you happen to see what OSU did to him last week? Swift can be stopped in the same manner by the Gator D.

Fromm is very good, it's his receivers that just don't quite get it done.

They almost seem "lazy", they don't want to really fight for the ball or be physical. Cager is the only one who does that, but even if he plays it's just put Wilson or Henderson on him every play.

With Swift, if Greenard and/or Zuniga play I like our chances a lot more.

Wisconsin’s QB was garbage against OSU and their OL was terrible.

I wouldn’t compare Swift or Taylor at all. Swift is by far the better back.

Quicker feet, more physically gifted, proven it against the best competition.

Fromm and UGAs OL are much better than Koan and Wisconsin’s OL too.

I wouldn’t be shocked at all, and frankly I’m expecting it to, if Swift goes for 150.

It’s gonna be a close game into the 4th Q.

If this were to happen, Gators lose by double digits.

It all depends on several factors:

Our DL health being the first and foremost. As much as we like to complain about depth, no one is replacing Zuniga and Greenard. They are freak, elite defensive linemen who make a ton of difference.

If they're in the game, I suspect we'll be able to do what we did against Auburn and everyone whose name wasn't LSU. South Carolina got the benefit of not playing either of them as well and only did "okay".

There's only a yard of average regarding the difference between Georgia and Florida's rush defense (on average) but we're the only ones talked about with a weak rush defense. Not that I expect to run, just that people exaggerate our rush defense by what LSU did to it -- without realizing that LSU had Burrow and a stable of NFL receivers to get much better matchups.

If Kentucky and South Carolina could hold for several quarters, we should absolutely be able to. (Most of Kentucky's breakdowns came in the second half after their offense went three and out a lot of times lol.)

This opinion will likely change by Saturday. They got bullied by Kentucky (until late in the second half) and South Carolina. Georgia, simply put, has not played anyone worth their salt.

Georgia has been missing some key players on their line though, so keep that in mind Straws.

I mean I think Greenard and Zuniga will hold their own very well vs their tackles...but inside we may be in trouble. I mean their line is very good at getting that push up the middle. Not sure our DT's are good enough to hold the line and their block so the LBers can make the tackle.

I say with a lot of confidence:

This is not the game they want their guys to come back in.

Three things I worry about

1. UGA comes out no huddle. Grantham has always struggled vs quick snap offenses. If Georgia comes out in a hurry up it immediately puts us on our heels. If Smart has half a brain he does it. Not the whole game, but occasionally. It really gets our guys out of position often.

2. They end up creating blitz packages that work. Smart is a pretty good defensive mind. If he can get pressure and Trask starts fumbling again it can snowball fast.

3. Grantham decides not to press. We all assume he will press cover and force them to beat his corners...but he may not. If he doesnt it may be time to seriously question him staying going forward

Still. If we come out angry about last year and hit them early. We may be able to force them away from what they want to do. Especially if we create turnovers.

Good. Same color combo as the 2017 debacle. Time to right the wrong.

I really dislike white pants unless we're going all white. Just not my thing.

Im good with white pants and blue jerseys. Its more retro looking of days when Spurrier was the QB.

I don't believe in gimmicks for big game, although the all blues would have been good. The day, if the Gators ever wear black, will be as bad as the swamp uniforms. Orange and Blue, not green or black!

Very much so. Legal research exam the day after Halloween and the day before the cocktail party. I’ve never heard of such a thing.
