The SEC refs are a real thing, no doubt. But, that 4th down play call ended this game. I'd seriously run a sweep, and find Kirby on the sideline. Enough is enough.

The amount of 3rd / 4th down plays we throw behind the line of scrimmage

I'm not saying that the one call was the deciding factor of this game but for sure it definitely changed the game.

But when things go wrong florida just seems to wilt.
This is a young team.
Hopefully they learn from this and have a better game against Arkansas next week because that might be the only game they win in the back end of the schedule

Arkansas is huge. We lose that and it is likely 5-7 and no bowl game.

I don't think any one play really changed the outcome of the game. This was inevitable. Georgia is the way better team and Florida is a team in transition. It was wishful thinking for anyone to think this team would keep it close or even win. I'm surprised the line was only 14 after watching how we've looked all season.

We weren't going to beat Georgia straight up without some trick play or magic. And the trick plays didn't work because Georgia is a well coached disciplined team.

Only positive is that we continue our vertical attempts, unlike earlier in the season. Situational play calling still needs to improve a lot though. Defense has regressed from earlier in the year, and is quite frankly not good. I'm sure the staff knows this, hence the level of defenders we are recruiting (on pace with Georgia).

Lastly, we have to hit the portal hard for some O-linemen. Otherwise, we don't stand a chance next year.

After the 3rd quarter, I left.

I went across the river to Ruth’s Chris and had a nice steak. It was good.

Short thoughts. Team didn’t quit like Mullen teams. Men vs boys on the lines. Refs didn’t help on some key calls. Playcalling is better. Georgia still sucks.

Over and under for how many times he says, "Good play call, poor execution?"
