y'all see yesterday's press conference? edgar asked billy why his teams have struggled to score the past 3 games:

Bowl Game
Spring Game
Utah Game

he basically responded with "those were 3 different groups. i'd save that question for the end of the year."

i'm not sure exactly what he meant by that, but i'm hoping it's something good.

Need a bounce back for sure. I definitely want to see better decision making on coaching end and better discipline on the field. This would be a good opportunity to do all that.

Yep, if we don't see a vastly more prepared team this weekend I'll be very disappointed. I don't care if we don't run up the score, just want to see good, well disciplined football. Oh, and I wanna see those LED lights too

McNeese should not offer any challenge, what I want to see is better execution on offense, elimination of pre snap penalties, greater sense of urgency and functional special teams play.

McNeese State is going to be fired up after giving up over 50 points to Tarleton State.

I'll be melting if that is the case.

Made me think, however, maybe we should make a "Melt Megathread" just like we did for political talk

That is a great idea," If you want to just melt post here." Don't ruin the other threads by melting on them.

With a rebuild of this proportion, even more level-headed and patient fans will have their moments.

I'll be watching this one on TV. Maybe at a BWW since there are other big games on at that time.

I plan on being at the Tenn game, so making it down for this one was going to be a stretch.

Coach Gary Goff said he was shocked at how poorly they played against Tarleton State after having such a good camp. He said he was going to give them some tough practices to prepare for the Gators and that anything is possible and then referenced the App State win over Michigan years ago. He said the Gators may not be at the top of the SEC now but we had a lot of high draft pick talent on the team.

???

The entire first sentence of your post confuses me. Is this a reference that I'm just not getting?

If McNeese makes tjis a game and it's only a 2 score lead going to the 4th Quarter. Then there are blaring problems with this team and coaching staff.

The mega thread will have 50 pages by midnight

Wilson getting the start it appears as Jackson is out this game. Can he permanently take a WR spot over if he shows out this game? The starting center is still out also. I am curious how Napier will handle the QB snaps once Mertz leaves the game. Miller may not play though which would mean Brown would get the rest probably.
