Man, I know we've posted some of the most impressive victories so far this season, but the lack of a passing game leaves me wanting more.

I know, as long as we keep winning, then we probably are a top 3 team, but man this ranking makes me nervous.

If our receivers and tight ends don't start catching some of those passes from JD then we will be too unidimensional to beat USCe or UGA.

We are our record, we probably played one of the toughest schedules thus far in the season and got some ugly wins. Remember, we are not blowing teams away like we did in 08 and 09 and are not throwing the ball for 300 yards. We are way above expectations IMO thus far in the season and the team knows how to finish games, they don't give up and believe they can win. We are probably ranked too high but who cares. Boom didn't go on tv and say we need to be ranked higher, as long as the team is hungry and believes I will take some ugly wins. The team seems to be playing a Pittsburgh style of football, where you run the ball effectively and slowly kill off the opponent. More importantly defense has a bend but don't break mentality

Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. This will all be sorted out so soon that it really doesn't matter. Say we win the next 2 games I will be calling for us to be #1.

The USC game will decide that.

I would say we are #4. Definitely not #2. If we can get pass UGA and USCe, Then that will be enough to put us at #1 IMO.

I don't watch other teams to know how our team is in context. But...penalties, slow starts and the par-subpar passing game makes me think we aren't.

There's room for improvement in the next few weeks so who knows?

Just in like in 2006, our resume says we are the #2 team in the country.

May not look like it, but we all know how 2006 ended

Right now the season is gravy. Our record is good, and we will drop if we lose. It all gets sorted out. No reason to obsess about rankings at this point.

Not really, but I'm going to enjoy it while we're here.
Kinda living in house you can't afford. At some point you're gonna get evicted so you might as well enjoy it while you can.

We're not #2 good yet, IMO, mainly because of our lack of offensive production. But we've still managed to dominate good teams and the offense will be there in time. I think there's much more of the passing game in the bag of tricks than what we've seen so far.

Dont need no stinking offense to win with our defense. Passes? Too risky. Run three times and if need be....bring in Christy to pin their azz back inside the 10 yd line.
