The way Chinyelu is playing is damn impressive. One of the strongest rebounders I've seen.
Urban not getting enough credit for his role of the bench. National focus is on Fland or Lee getting more consistent, which is important, but Klavzar's really elevated his game this season.
The team we've seen the last few weeks can beat any team in the country. The strength up front will make us a hard out for anyone come tourney time.

bgator85 you’re spot on with your post but don’t sleep on Isaiah Brown too!

Good point, Brown too is a spark plug off the bench. Brings a physicality to the backcourt that is nice to see.

We have to solve our starting guards 3 point shooting woes to win it all again. Golden is doing the best he can but there is zero chance of winning a championship if both starting guards are shooting that poorly on 3s. Guards become a bigger issue in March Madness than the regular season.

We should hire Reggie Miller as shooting coach. It is not realistic but let me dream and shite.

Well the Auburn loss was hopefully a wakeup call but the bigs were weak in this game.

Bigs looked like they got manhandled. With our abysmal guard play and 3point shooting, it makes us easy to defend in the paint.

Probably not a popular opinion, but our student section fricking sucks and has for a long time.
They didn’t fill all of the student seats in the upper sections for a ranked opponent…. And they never get very loud when they should.
I remember the student section being raucous the entire game. What happened? Just a few “g-league drop out” cheers is all we got?
Now get off my lawn.

The renovation neutered the student section. The number of students court side was drastically reduced by putting in chairbacks and then shoved the band in there too to take even more. It was a big mistake, one of many with the reno.
Sooner we can get into new arena, the better.

Not that unpopular of an opinion,
Even non Fringw lunatic central Florida basement dwellers like the caw have said that the new o dome doesn’t have the same energy
Even witb how pitiful we’ve been in football the swamp always is rocking but that loser Stricklin probably wants to ruin that too with his devious plans

Had a number of students try to sit in my section only to get booted. The usher pointed the student over to the empty student section, and I just thought it was sad. During the 04 years, you were lucky to get in as a student…. Now it’s just meh. I blame social media partially, and yeah the renovations don’t help. But the mere fact that we didn’t sell out the student section for one of our top home games is just sad.

I think that’s the UAA discouraging them due to possible liability more than anything else. Didn’t they hand out wrist bands instead?
I donno. A lot for students are pussies anyways, so doubt many would have shown up to camp even if they could, given the weather.

Man we have a winner in Golden, so I hope the students give the team great support. He may be gone to the NBA in a few years, so you have to embrace it while we have it.

I could absolutely see him going to the nba and doing well. He is too good.

I hope not. That is almost fully a players league also. A coach doesnt have much say on winning a title there as Donovan and others have learned.

I see him testing out the NBA waters at some point but I think we get 10+ years out of him at least, he is still so young. A very long career ahead of him still.
