I do see your point, and can see why we might stick with the 3 bigs. I just wonder if it proves that we'll win more with 2 bigs if we'll stick with that. I guess stay tuned and we'll find out.
This was a one game sample size against a not very good team, so I am not even really sure if we played better because of the line up or the competition. I just think the "eye test" seemed to indicate that we looked more fluid, as I've seen us against some even worse teams and we looked disjointed. Seemed like we gelled a little bit today for the first time this season.

We have one of the best coaches in basketball, but young starting lineup and a lot of new starters, so will take sometime...kids have to grow up. By Tourney time we will be very good..but young teams go through growing pains. If you expect to be as good as last year, that is not fair to the young men at all. Reasonable expectations are fair. You can believe the talent is there, I do..but it has to grow through the year. Very unfair to them to expect otherwise.
Do not take thus wrong at all..our basketball program I think is one of the top 5 in the nation..but we are young.

The giant got suspended? I see Lee had a decent FG% but not a great game on 3s again. Hopefully he is close to being out of his slump.

It's amazing that after years of mediocrity on the basketball court we caught lightning in a bottle and clawed our way to a title through sheer grit and determination.
But it's even more amazing the number of fans who now seem to think titles are our birthright and anything less than 30 wins a year means you are a garbage team...
