Billy
Is losing all his high STAR guys and just about all of them are on the side of the ball we need the most help

Very troublesome indeed

Getting 3 stars instead of the high 4's and 5's is not going to cut it. Plus not working the portal well either.

I guess I'll wait till signing day. But going from a top6 clas to top 15 surely isn't promising

We’ll be sub-15 when amaris and adaris flip Wednesday.

Hopefully DJ doesn't flip if that happens then honestly there is no reason. To keep this staff at all.
Hire Lane and be done with it.

The caw advocated for Lane since 2017

But the Disney gators say he can’t recruit !

They say he’s be just like Mullen! “If so Mullen still won 9 games a year not 5/6 like they normally do now”

The admin said he was too immature !

Would never contend ! Blah blah blah

Well, I should say, there’s probably 10 of us here that are around pretty regular. That’s about it. And they all hate the UAA.

Tigerdroppings lacks alot of Gators fans.

Sad but true. Has there ever been this big of a fall? From 3 to out of the top 15?

Some of this may have been true in the past, but Kiffin has matured and proven himself at Ole Miss. I love to have him at UF right now.

Big day for Napier's future tomorrow, he needs to pull some rabbits out his butt or the noise in the system will grow even louder. The delay in coaching changes isn't helping either.

I don't know anyone who likes the UAA/Stricklin. One of the main reasons people don't want Napier fired is that they don't want Stricklin getting another hire.

Just like Napier's teams on the field, he's run out of gas late in the 4th quarter and couldn't close.

Thought it was a Hocke problem, maybe it's a Napier problem.

If this happens I think it would be best to rip the bandaid off.

Keeping Napier with a sub 15 ranked class would be exactly like the Chargers keeping Staley this season.

No matter how he closes he will be the coach next year. The real question whether or not he survives through next year. I suspect we'll have a pretty good idea of the direction of the program by October. If it goes the way many expect I don't see how you bring him back in 2025. He won't have a top end recruiting class this time next year if we get the shite pummeled out of us with that brutal schedule, so what would be point in keeping him?

Honestly, the NIL operation here at Ole Miss is far more fleshed out that UF's is and has some heavy hitters involved. As I posted on another board, every flagship state university has its share of mega-wealthy alumni, and you only need a few of them to be football nuts to make this NIL stuff go. There are some very wealthy individuals who are all in at Ole Miss and have been for a year now. That's how Lane is absolutely killing it in the portal right now, and everyone he is adding is in a position where they were week this year.

I don't think Lane will retire here, but I don't think he's leaving for anywhere right now either. Ole Miss has its shite together at the moment, and the adults in the room are running things now, unlike the half-assed, good ole boy bagmen who were running around back during Freeze's reign.

Why go to UF when there are lingering question about just how "in" the UAA and boosters are with the current era of CFB when you are at a program where everyone is bought in and you have an actual warchest that can compete for the first time in program history?

Now if he can't get to the CFP with a team full of studs in 24, he may see the writing on the wall like Kelly did at Notre Dame and bail. But at the moment, he's moved his parents here, his daughter is in school here, and he has boosters giving him everything he is asking for. I wouldn't expect him to jump just to do it.

As an Ole Miss fan myself, I hope Lane stays where he is. But if you ask if I wish he was at UF, the answer is f yes.
