Finch, you sound very one dimensional, much like a Bama fan and not like a fan of the school who has dominated all sports in the SEC.
Also ForeverGator, I appreciate you being such a great fan, but I disagree with you and I think the bottom is going to fall out when we lose to Vandy on Saturday. I hate it, but we are just a poorly coached team, imo.

Please tell me of all of the National Championships, SEC titles, and top 10 finishes that South Carolina has in football.
Terrible comparison. South Carolina baseball would be a better comparison, but even then they have been terrible outside of a 5 year stretch.

Yeah, if we lose to Vandy, I can’t really defend White anymore.
I’ve defended his arse a ton but Vandy is TERRIBLE. Lose that game and yikes... Stricklin is gonna have a very big decision to make.

Yea I mean Vandy is so, so bad. If we lose to them the season is over because the team stopped trying. Doubt it though we have enough talent to play bad and beat them handily.

So we have yet to see our most efficient line up today. Great article about it on Gatorcountry.
Nembhard, Locke, Johnson, Black, Omar
Those five have been insanely efficient on the court together as he showed. I linked below. Not sure why we aren't using it, especially with how weak Vandy is on the interior.

Ugly game but a win is a win. Vandy is very bad but we couldn't hit open shots all night

I'm not defending White but this team just does not have that killer instinct to put away a team for good when they are down up by 17 to vandy and let them get it too 6 instead of getting it too 25
Sometimes players got to play and it's like everyone is afraid to be the man
As far as Lewis goes he brings energy yes and the potential is there but in no way is he ready for the nba he definitely needs another year and mann is just a waste out there he does not need to see the court more than 7 to 10 minutes a game Johnson need to be WAY WAY more aggressive

You can coach kids to be more aggressive and have a killer instinct through repetition. I’ve seen it done plenty. But when you don’t have a killer instinct as a coach, the team will follow your lead.

Agreed. Great coaches always find a leader and build the team around that guy. You gotta have the guy who says let's fricking go and pulls the best out of the guys around him. I can't remember a great team that you couldn't point to "the guy" on that team.

I walked into the house at the beginning of the 2nd half yesterday. In that brief moment, I told my wife that maybe Mike White isn’t it.
But then we came back. So, there’s that.
She also told me to stop reading the message boards because it’s making me become negative about the basketball team. I can’t disagree with her that most of you are being miserable as frick about our team and just need to try to enjoy the run.
I can still see us get 20-21 regular season wins. Maybe win a couple more in the sec tourney. Get a 6 seed in the NCAA tourney and try to make a deep run (at least make the sweet 16).
But we will see. That’s why we watch, isn’t it?
