Bryan Edwards is how the all time leading WR in receptions and yards at the university of South Carolina
And he is only 1 TD catch away from tying Alshon and Sidney in TD catches (he has 22 the record is 23)
All time he currently has the following:
234 Receptions
22 TDs
3045 Yards
Where do you rank him?
I say he is definitely behind Alshon, Sidney and Sterling
Not sure if I’d put him 4, but maybe 5 behind Kenny McKinley?

He has dealt with the following QB’s in his tenure:
Perry Orth
Brandon Mcilwain
Jake Bentley and all of his inconsistencies
A freshman Ryan Hillinski
He’s broken records with that cast of arms.... I would say that helps his case.

But the 3 other guys I listed above him didn’t stay all 4 years
shite Rice played 2
In both of Rice’s years with Blake Mitchell and Syvelle Newton he had over 1k yards receiving
And this was right before the new era of high powered offenses
He was the ONLY guy on our offense too, so people knew where the ball was going
He was a 2 Time all conference and freshman all American

Bryan..
Sterling was super special. Fast, fluid and strong.
He was an absolute joy to watch. You came to expect greatness..

Yep sterling is my number one
He is the best WR we’ve ever had at South Carolina

5th.
I got to see plenty of Rice, Alshon, and McKinley and I wouldn’t put him above any of them.
If Edwards had half the heart any of those guys had I would have no problem with ranking him over all of them. he doesn’t have any, like Jared Cook.

I’d rank him above McKinley, but I think Sharpe, Jeffery, and Rice are 1-3. All of them were good at different things.
Sidney was the smoothest WR I’ve ever seen in person though.

Yea I wasn’t alive for Sharpe
But just from what I’ve read, stats in that era and accolades he’s the best
But from who I’ve seen
Rice is the best WR I’ve seen at our school

I'd like to add Robert Brooks and Deebo to the mix. I think both were better than Edwards or McKinley.

The best compliment I could give Sharpe is that I believe he could play in today's game and still be first team all american.

Its Sharpe #1 and #2 aint even close. That is how dominant he was.

I like BE, but Sterling was a magician with the ball in his hands.

Where do you rank BE then?

4th or 5th.
I pretty much agree with the above list, but one might be able to convince me BE is ahead of Kenny based on Bryan's spot in the record books.
Sterling
Alshon
Sidney
Kenny
Bryan
I always thought Deebo was a better WR than Bryan. If he had not been bitten by the injury bug, Bryan would be chasing Deebo's records.

He's top 3. Alshon would be holding Bryan's jockstrap if he played in Spurrier's offense.

I disagree with this , as bad as our offense has been it was never a world beater with spurrier either. We used to complain about it all the time
Actually look at the stats:
2019: 402.9 YPG
2018: 426.2 YPG
2017: 337.9 YPG
2016: 347.5 YPG
09: 347.4 YPG
10: 392.8 YPG
11: 373.5 YPG
Not taking anything away from BE, but IMO this is the definition of a compiler

You're right I messed up. Was thinking about Spurrier coaching our current team with multiple receiving threats and offensive line. BE still top 3 for me.
