I think us being 7-3 shows that the SEC really isn’t that great

7-4 and 5th in the SEC
12-12 overall

with games against A&M twice,Georgia, Mizzou

we could finish top 5-6 in the SEC this year

shite we could pull off some stupid "upset" against Miss Sate (who we beat) Bama and Ole Miss.

And still with a not very good overall record.

Say what you want about the "deep sec" i think it's overrated AF this year.

Think UK is the only team with real Talent

SEC has 3 tourny teams in actuality lsu, tenn and Kentucky and I don't see any of them advancing past the sweet 16.

Only one I see is Kentucky.

because they have actual Talent.

Barnes will barnes, LSU is just getting hot, Cal will do some voodoo dance and get his 3 lottery picks into the elite 8 like he does every other year

Kentucky has the physical talent but fall short on the mental end.

Is it because they're young?

That is part of it but I don't think their coach handles adversity, during a game, very well. Some of that could be because he has only known the players and his team a few months and doesn't know what buttons to push.

I think with him is he's the best motivator of talent.
And I do think it's tough to do that especially with a team full of guys just looking ahead to the NCAA.

Of course his talent has decreased with other teams adopting the method, but he still happens to get them their with not the TRUE elite talent (and I'm saying true elite Talent is Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins top 10 players in the NBA talent)

He took a team to the elite 8 in 2017 which was the same level talent as this is and I wouldn't put it passed him to do it again.

remember even Nova needed talent to get over the hump, people praise Jay Wright... but then look at those rosters, 4 and 5 star guys/ 1st round picks.

I also think the tourney is a complete crap shoot and anyone can get hot at the right time and guys that are looking to improve their draft stock certainly can get motivated for that as well.

(why I may see a team like Duke falter at the end as those 3 are probably all top 4-5 picks already)

The one loss and your out tourney puts a buttload of stress on these one and done kids, who probably have never faced that type of stress. To be honest I would be shocked to see Duke win it all. Experience and great guard play are needed to win the title. Look at our final 4 team it had the experience and the great guard play.

Nova won with 3 of their 5 starting 5 being sophomores or lower.
and the year they won before that was Jalen Brunson's freshman year.
Duke won it all with Jhalil Okafor, Grayson Allen, Justice Winslow and Tyus Jones (allen was off the bench but the other 3 starters)

but we didn't win the title
