You do have some awesome hobbies I will admit.Nothing like archeology and history!

I keep honey bees and do a bit of gold prospecting as well. Actually upgraded my equipment 2 weeks ago from just a goldhog raptor flare highbanker to a 4 inch keene floating dredge when i went to Auburn Georgia about an hour sw of Athens and bought a nice used one. Complete with a hooka diving system. I realized i live in gold country in York county about 2 years back and have been after it ever since. As for bees we raise Russian and Italian. Caught a few wild swarms as well. I only have a few hives now but at one time had around 40. I'm blessed to have found an ancient Indian camp on my farm. I have an amazing collection of personal finds from there. Over a thousand pieces. My hobbies have been very pandemic friendly

Friend of mine that lives up the street has honeybee hives he imported from Italy ( the honey has a lighter taste) and I live right near the gold mine here in Ridgeway. Having Cherokee in my bloodline has always made anything Indian interesting but I prefer archeology from biblical times , or earlier, then to North American archeology.

Which honey do you prefer the Russian or Italian? I've never had the Russian but I really enjoy the honey I get from the Italian bees.

re: The Optimistic Thread @$$hole.
quote:

He does exactly what Dabo does, hire top coordinators and analysts

Dabo hasn't hired a coordinator in five years. I can't name a coach on his staff other than Elliott and Venables. I'm honestly not sure the coaching acumen has much to do with the success. It goes back to keeping it all in the family under the lord's watchful eye. He has consistency, probably more because of illicit activities than for the family bond they share. Regardless, he, as an individual coach could not pick up his family love schtick and move it around like Saban and Urban have. Saban and Urban built their names and will be forever recognized for their ability to install a killer system that will win a championship.

That's not to take away from what clemson is, but to think Dabo could go around and replicate his con anywhere he wanted like Saban or Meyer, I'm not buying it.

quote:

No because he’d still be pulling in the same talent, and would have an even larger budget to do exactly what Saban has done
frick even Orgeron in 2019

So again, the whole point here is that his roster is as good as it could reasonably get, and so no matter where he goes, he's peaked in talent, similar to Bama. What would be different is that that peak talent would actually be tested for a whole season, even in Pac-12 or the Bigs, much less the SEC. He's not a good coach, he is an opportunist who lucked out with a good opportunity in a terrible conference.

quote:

Also this... when is that going to happen?
We’ve been waiting for this for years now. And nothing

I couldn't tell ya Baw, but you either believe only the teams that get caught are cheating, or that most everyone is cheating and some just do it better. So to repeat my theme of lucky opportunist, he managed to land at a school located in a cult town, where he could get away with a much better cheating system to turn his hick school into the premier landing spot for all the best football players in the country under his gracious guidance. Yet to be exposed Hugh Freeze. The only difference is, you strip Sweeney of his talent, he's not going to UMass and getting them ranked in 2 years.

Dabo was already part of " the clempson way". It would take another school that had their cheating already down pact including who was trusted and who wasn't. They would have to let dabo in their trusted circle for him to be successful. He would be an idiot to ever leave tatortown.

re: The Optimistic Thread @$$hole.
As far as honey goes i don't notice any difference between the 2 just as long as the hives are local to one another so that they're using the same ingredients. Really depends on what they're pollinating i think. Speaking of history i wish the crew at oak island could move faster lol...The Knights Templar artifacts have my fingers crossed the Arc of the Covenant is there. I sure hope so

Most stories think that the Arc was taken to Ethiopia.

I disagree completely, and it would be eaten up by schools in the south for sure

Find me school that isn’t located in a cult town?
Tuscaloosa, Auburn, South Bend, Happy Valley, Ann Arbor, Columbus, they’re all cult towns

He’s got experience winning , if he wanted to leave for a top P5 school that has their own cheating way (which they all do) he’d be welcome with open arms

At this point I don’t think he’s leaving at all since he’s guilty a Dynasty. i

He’s a great coach and has built a great program, the only place he’s leaving for is Bama, but I don’t think Saban is leaving any time soon, and by that time Dabo will have such a successful program with many more titles, he’s legend status, he ain’t leaving

It's not that a given school wouldn't like it. It's that you can't hop schools if your primary recruiting pitch is I'm a jackass, but we're a family that sticks together. If your primary pitch is everwhere I go I fecking win, come be a part of that family, like Saban, that's still a different, more transferable pitch.

I think at this point it doesn’t matter since he’s already won is what I’m trying to say.
Recruits are going to come because he already has success.

He’s not going to start pulling in a 30th or 40th ranked class at Auburn because he’s a “liar”

They don’t give a shite.

What was the appeal of CockyTalk? Just browsing that site made me sick. Bunch of sunshine pumpers. I've been on Gamecock Central since 2009.

I’m fine with sunshine pumpers, I’m definitely one so that’s probably why
But my issue is as soon as you said something negative you were “a tater”

“I don’t think Alshon Jeffery is better than Julio Jones”
“You’re a tater”

The recruiting section was the biggest appeal to me. It had constant info flowing in it.

I swear Tillman on SECrant is kin to skeeter from CT.
