They aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack. I will bet you some show up wearing clempson clothes thinking its cool forgetting that their team is playing.

Well that would depend on the subject. I sure wouldn't argue with a clempson grad on the correct rotation of crops.

I wouldn't argue with anyone on that.

Especially Jose from Tijuana who's doing that for me for $2 an hour.

So SC and Tanner has officially issued a statement saying they could not use Marshall tickets and/or simply exchange Marshall tickets for the Akron game (or any 12th game, make-up game) because of some vague state law and for insurance reasons.

No details or quoting of state law in the books ... but okay, nice save AD.

lulz

That information is in full disclosure and in all fairness since I always want to give our AD the benefit of the doubt.

Clemson fans are pricks btw.

Let's win this game big tomorrow. A big offensive output might go a long ways towards getting us a better bowl.

True. If I were Tanner I'd be equally embarrassed that I let this happen but also kind of okay with the absolute bullshite excuse that Clemson fans grabbing all the tickets are the reason no one is there.

Announced attendance was 52,400. That was a blatant lie. If there were 15k there I'd be surprised. Lowest attendance for a game that I can ever remember and lowest announced attendance for a game since 2001 vs La Tech. I cannot remember why that one was so low but I seem to remember we almost lost that game.

Failed to score, really failed to move the ball, in the 2nd half.

If there is a silver lining to it all a bunch of true freshmen got playing time yesterday and these guys looked like they're going to be very good in coming years. We've got some serious freshmen coming along and, many of them, they'll still be freshmen next season.

The Akron Debacle is behind us now. Thank gosh we got a 12th game in and we'll have a chance to get an 8th win this season.

FWIW there was improvement to not this year on the offensive side of the ball. Overcame some injuries on the D side and salvaged the season ... as long as we win that 8th game. This team was better than last year's team overall IMHO.

It went by too fast for me.

I agree.
I think last years record was inflated due to an easier schedule (than it was this year)

Lol, 52,400?? Were they counting total fingers and toes in the stadium? I'm thinking you're pretty close with the 15k, but may have been less honestly. I was impressed with the number of students there in the first half at least.

It was a pretty lackluster game, especially that second half, on a very poor day to be out. But it's always fun to see a win. It felt like a spring game prior to Spurrier when very few people went in general.

I will say one guy that stood out to me was 10, Roderick. He looked like a DJ type safety. Trash talking and coming to knock people out. Good to see a little cockiness and swagger out there again.

Yea Roderick was definitely a bright spot yesterday. That kid flashed loads of potential this season and will be an anchor on the backend for the next few years.

And I agree with the others, last years 9 wins were inflated to an easier schedule and the turnover margin.

DJ was impressed with him. Made it clear to Roderick he was now an honorary member of the OG Goonsquad.

High praise from Swearinger.

If it would have been a nice day we would have seen around the 50,000 mark but as nasty as the weather was we only saw about 12,000. I took some kids that have never been and at halftime they were half frozen so we left. In 10 years from now we won't talk about how bad it was we will just remember we won.
