And if that would have happened, would we have been in a better or worse position than we are right now?

we probably would have hired Muschamp after his second year as a DC at Auburn

Erik Kimrey to join the staff, most likely as TE coach, resigned from Hammond

how do we feel about this? Has any school ever succeeded by hiring a ton of ex players? I want to say it at the least will help in recruiting. But then I hear the term "michigan man" over and over in my head and I only see Harbaugh.

And why get rid of Wilson? I'm starting to get confused by the branding/direction of what's going on so far.

Kimrey could be a great hire, dude is a very good football mind. Also, granted scisa and he recruits his players at hammond, he has the most state titles in state history.

Likely staff as of now looks like this.

Offensive coordinator/Quarterbacks - Mike Bobo

Running backs - Des Kitchings

Tight ends - Erik Kimrey

Offensive line - Will Friend

Wide receivers - TBD

Defensive coordinator - Kevin Steele(rumored from TBS)

Defensive line - Tracy Rocker

Linebackers - Mike Peterson

Secondary - TBD

Special Teams - Pete Lembo (ST/AHC at Memphis)

The cold hard facts is that no one really knows shite at this point. Kimrey is in, not 100 in what capacity but he's the only confirmed hire

That would be a good hire too. I’m still hoping for Derek mason although I don’t know if we have 3-4 personnel. Maybe the DC at coastal?

Isn’t that what we’ve been running under Muschamp?
