Lol! Unfortunately my moniker is a bit misleading. Im actually in the marketing business but I've been good friends with Perry Orth since we met back in 2016 and he works for IMG. So, close enough?

Just wanted to thank everyone for their responses. I've been longtime follow, but never really posted anything before. I was a member of CT for about 10 years and liked it for the first few years 09 to 13, then it went to HELL quick. Seems like a massive Tater migration took place and bombarded the site. Over the last 3 years I branched out to SECRANT and found you guys, I also frequent Gamecock Central a lot. At one time I was a paying member and enjoyed the content and posters. Now I just post on the FGF and boy what a ride that can be LOL! Again thank you guys I appreciate it, and GO COCKS!

There are a lot of ways Hoskins could have shut that board down. If he literally just pulled the plug in a hissy-fit meltdown, that's a serious dickhead move. Why not post a one-screen landing page just stating that the board is done? Every Gamecock fan is pissed obviously, but if you start up a board like that and keep it up and running for so many years, have some damn decency about your users if you are going to throw a tantrum and shut it down.
I've had issues with CT, their tinker-toys server and some of the bitchy mods over there, but objectively speaking, there was good information to be had about recruiting and other things. There are assholes on every board but CT had a few posters who could be counted on for knowledgeable or funny comments.
When things are going bad for the team, that is the best time to have a message board. Misery loves company and it helps to vent. I am happy to have this one to do just that.

This time 1000x. Or if you don't like running the board your brother started, hand the keys off to someone who would like to keep it going.
But as I said earlier, the damage was done after they were hacked. I still have the screen shot of when it went down for that, but have never posted it.

Crazy. I must've been at CT sometime in 2006 or 2007? I can't even remember when it started. I used a different handle before I came to TD looking for someone to talk about the LSU-SC series with. I never went back, changed my handle here in 2010.
I did love those old videos they had up when they cared to maintain that section.

How many times did you leave work early or stay up late providing a practice report so that others ,that couldn't make practice, could read what was going on? I actually grew up with George Rush's family off of broad river rd ( the original Rush's with the swivel seats started out as a dairy queen) so I can't start riots on their property.

I like this one better because of the Rant, but people crying about other fanbases in smack soured me
What’s the point of a smack board if you make comments about other fans (mostly Clemson) coming onto it?
