New Helmet Thoughts?

The official Gamecocks page just dropped a video for their uniforms on Saturday. It's garnet-garnet-white, perhaps my favorite combo.
But the helmet will not have the cursive Carolina on one side and the Gamecock logo on the others. I don't mind the Carolina logo separately on other merch, but not a fan of the two logoed helmet. Hope it's not a permanent addition to the uniforms this year.

With a separate logo on the side? For some reason that bothers me as much as anything. I'd be more okay with the double Carolina for a game or two more than two logos. That's bothered me regardless of whose helmet or logos they are.

Oh yeah, sorry if I didn’t make that clear. The standard Cock logo is on the other side if I’m not mistaken.

Kinda reminds me of Ole Miss’ helmets why i like em.
Think they have some of the best uniforms in the SEC.

Not a fan of the dual logo at all

No thanks. Nike has fricked up the logos and branding for UGA, UTK, Oregon State, and several others recently. The only rebranding package that they got right was when they did Arizona State a few years ago.
I'm happy with what UA has done here. Adidas has done a great job with Tech, too.

They rebranded Tennessee? And UGA? I mean i still see them in same uniforms

Don’t see a “rebrand” then again, would you count this as one? (I wouldn’t as i see it as just for one game)

They still use Sparky at least once a year. The Fork is a much cleaner, easier to recognize and process logo, though. I like both sets.

I would like to see the age split on the posters that like versus dislike. I have a feeling the younger group will like while the 50 and over will not.

I’m a fan of the scripted Carolina on the helmets. Just glad the didn’t put it n the jersey. I didn’t like that concept.

I like that we’re bringing back the script logo for the new UA merchandise and fan apparel, but I feel like it’s a missed opportunity that these helmets aren’t at least black to honor the Joe Mo era.
When I think of the script, I think of Joe’s hat. It’s a part (albeit small) part of our history.
That said, not crazy about changing helmet logos. I hated the feather design a couple years back, and I’m pretty sure we lose whenever we change a part of our uniform.

We do plenty of that when we don’t change uniforms too
