Sellers is elite when running the ball but his passing ability is trash. We have a damn good RB room and Cutter has the passing ability needed. If we want to beat the conference schools we need Cutter as our starter.

I didn't watch the whole game because the kids here had their homecoming dance, but when sellers hit's guys in the hands and they drop it, I'm not sure how that's his fault.

Personally, I think he throws a good ball, but had an off night. The thing is, we have enough weapons to go with plan B if Plan A isn't working.

That being said, I'm loving our RB room right now. Good gosh!

Came back to add, that Sellers/Cutter is the best 1-2 we've had at QB since Shaw/Thompson.

Also, the most popular guy on the team is ALWAYS the backup QB...

We will not get the same amount of opportunities against sec teams as we have been getting. Sellers consistently under throws and holds the ball longer and doesn't lead the wr with his passes. He has physical talent but he doesn't process plays fast at all. Again his running ability is elite but we have to keep defenders from loading the box so his passing has to make the next step. Cutter doesn't have the running ability as Sellers but is a better passer and seems to process at a faster pace.

100 percent agree with everything sosfan says. Its highly unlikely Woods gets a shot this year. Beams just named him an mvp of saturdays game. I am at a loss how.

Beamer has tooled this whole offense around Sellers. Sellers aint goung anywhere

Interesting analysis. Harbor phew buddy, you better get blockin that's all I'll say. Funky game, wet, weird weather. Flush it, learn from it, do better next time. I'm not mad about winning 45-9. MSU will be tougher.

The good news is we have plenty of tape on things to fix, and won by 36 points. We are 2-0 with zero reason to sit back and rest on that.

I hope the film is enough to motivate the players and coaches this week, maybe make this a get right week.

I heard an interesting take about Towson which was, we didn't really prep for Towson last week. We prepped for MSU and Bama. I think at least the first half of the statement is true.

From the post game presser to yesterday's teleconference, you could tell Beamer was PISSED about the way we played Saturday. I'm hoping for a MIchiganesque reversal on Saturday...

And he damn well should have been. We are lucky we were playing a cupcake because a Sec team would have beat us

Well yeah it certainly seemed like it, but no excuse for Harbor to just straight up not block ha

There were some definite drops that were all on the receivers. But for the second week in a row Sellers easily underthrew open receivers as well - including what should’ve been an easy TD. For me, it’s happened one too many times over a two week period to be anomalous, but I certainly hope I’m wrong.

Either way - under throws and dropped passes are an awful look all around

I feel like the fact that one of the media groups put out an ad where Sellers was trying to hit targets for points, and he missed the deep target like 4 times and never hit it is making all his missed throws stand out more than if we just never saw that footage.

To be honest actual game throws missing the mark stands out the most to me but yes missing throws to objects that aren't moving and nobody rushing you is really bad.

oh 100%. I just know when it came out...it was slightly concerning. Then we saw 3 missed balls in game one, and then a few in game 2. I have to think maybe if they just edited that video maybe some of us wouldn't have been looking so hard at the accuracy, but I could very well be wrong. It just highlighted it before the season a bit

Let's be honest here with Sellers. We saw him miss the mark often last year and I mentioned it before the season. He has this tendency to throw flat footed and doesn't step into his throws. We can get away with that playing lower talent like kent state, towsand and Clempson but the SEC teams will make us pay.
