My all-time favorite uniform. I've always loved that Garnet helmet and the Gamecocks across the chest.

Hell yea.
Hopefully they'll wear the garnet helmets and black pants on the road again too.

...first time Under Armour has actually done CAROLINA justice with a uniform. I was waiting for UA to screw this retro up - but they nailed it.

I can't tell if you mean strictly from an on the field football perspective or you're saying the 80s is just the best decade overall. Can't comment on the overall part, but I think the 2010s may have usurped on the field.

The 80's, in my humble opinion, overall was the greatest decade in the last 40 years.

The only thing about the switching different jerseys weekly is it doesn't give us a recognisable identity.

If we just change all of the jerseys to “Gamecocks” on front of them I’d call that a recognizable identity

(Ours doesn’t specify which game, but for some teams it says the dates they’ll wear their heritage jerseys)
ETA: confirmed that the black throwback will take the place as our current throwback
