Can you lay out and swim there in January? You can at South Beach.

Hasn't snowed in Myrtle Beach in a long time plus snow here last for a day or two but new York last for a month or two.

say the same about Columbia SC

I don't want to live in Columbia either. I live in the country but would prefer living at the Ocean.

Snow doesn’t last for a month or two.
This isn’t Chicago or Minnesota.
And it hasn’t snowed here much in the last 2-3 years actually
We only got 2.5 inches in 2019. Been staying warmer later in the year too

Next week the high in NYC is 58 and low is 28.
North Myrtle Beach next week high is 70 and low is around 50.

Plus Southerners are much more pleasant to be around compared to fast talking rude yankees

Yes. American taxpayers fund DC who then determines how to use those taxpayers to rule the world.

Love NY, but the one downfall for me is the trash. I really wish they would’ve utilized alleys. Besides that, definitely a fun time. I’ve lived in Chicago for about 8 years; and while it doesn’t get the same love as NY it’s definitely a pretty amazing city (outside of the winter months!).

Agreed certain neighborhoods are bad

I’ve actually starting going for work. I love it.It is so much cleaner but a little more quiet than NY. Winters are much more extreme too. And you’re far from the beach.

(i think?)

I wouldn't mind playing in Chicago as an athlete. Yea the bears suck but atleast the fans care, you'd make millions and live in a really nice neighborhood while being the toast of the city. Also you'd play defense so everyone there would love you, unlike if you played QB.

I think that would also be a big thing for me too. Do the fans care. The Dolphins fans dont. Panthers fans only care if we win, Bucs dont etc etc.
I want Clowney to be in a winning/caring atmosphere.
Seattle is a good one.

You didn't go to the right places then. The lake in northern Indiana has really great beaches and is 45 mins - 1 hour from downtown Chicago. However, we enjoyed Lake Michigan's beaches in Wisconsin even better. In fact the state park campground we stayed at in Wisky is in our top 5 places we've ever stayed.

Indiana Dunes

Of course, you're a city boy and I wouldn't expect you to really appreciate outdoor spaces. If you did, you wouldn't live where you do. Some people love central park as an outdoor space. But as the old saying goes, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail...
