I'm both proud and embarrassed he played at South Carolina. Watching him get real coaching and play in a functioning offense was a joy to watch.

Why, we used him in every way here, and he was really productive in a bad system

Why would you be embarrassed that he played for us? He was a featured player here. What a stupid comment for you to make.

Yea not really sure i get that one.
He played for an absolutely garbage team and was amazing, and drafted in the 2nd round. Shows that we can create pro talent

What did you mean? Why would anyone be embarrassed over one of our only bright spots playing on our team. Do you think he was to good for our team? If so what kind of Gamecock fan are you?

He got shite coaching and he had a shite S&C coach. Yes he was great for us and I said I was proud to have him here too, but he deserved a lot better than what he got.

I didn’t think this was that difficult or polarizing of a statement.

You act like Deebo had zero success here yet he was drafted in the 2nd round. That doesn't happen out of the blue. Our program absolutely contributed to his success and to see you're embarrassed that he succeeded here is asinine.

How lol

I’m saying his potential was limited here. Dude is a first rounder easily in a good offense. We limited him. We gave him the best we had, sure. But that wasn’t close to what he could be

Has nothing to do with it. Still no reason to say you're embarrassed that he played for us . He was a very late pickup,in his recruiting class , and South Carolina gave him a chance to play D-1 ball. He then was coached up to become a 2nd round draft pick. I think him not being 1st round had more to do with his injury prone career and not because he played on mediocre teams. I'm just as proud to say Deebo is a Gamecock as I am to say Clowney was a Gamecock.

Funny you say we limited him when the plays he has run in the pro's he also ran here. He was a featured player here and that helped him become a known player.

There are some rumblings that the giants are going to sign Clowney
That would be awesome!

I got what you were saying and agree with you. And it wasn't very hard for me to do so. Had he not shown everyone in the country he was the best player on the field against Clemson. He'd have ended up 3rd or 4th round. And if you re watch that game. Jake wasn't that good that night, he made Jake look as good as he made Garappolo look.

Not sure how that aligns with him saying he wants to sign with a contender.

If the giants pay him top 5 DE money I doubt he cares.
besides it's also the giants they'll win a superbowl again in another 3-4 years

He's been offered Top 5 DE money before and turned it down. He's made plenty, he'll still make Top 10 DE money. But he's made it clear he'll turn down a dumpster fire.

Hell he turned down Top 5 DE money from Miami. Do you have any idea how difficult it is for a young black unmarried millionaire to turn down Miami? If he said no to Miami he ain't going to the Giants buddy.

I mean the giants are a better franchise...
I’d say the Dolphins are a far bigger dumpster fire than the giants are.
I think he will choose NYG/J, Indy or Baltimore
Or I guess stay in Seattle

ETA: selfish me says Carolina
