Cocktalk is dead and gone. Owners have no one to blame but themselves. Never had more than 3-4 members online at any time ( which is about twice as many as this board).

honestly a bummer. Feels like they had a chance to capture the magic again when it first popped back up, but they didnt fix the site and the new site looked like crap.
This one is fine, the major issue is that it needs a DM function.

Actually the major issue is we don't have enough posters on the SC board that Actually follows our sports teams and enjoy discussing it.

Yeah,. After Chuck died, he brother got mad at Muschamp and shut it down for 2-3(?) years. Lost the user base that they never got back aftter the reboot.

Well I think they also had an issue where someone was seeding the site to mine bitcoins or something.
So instead of fixing the issue he took his ball and went home because he was pissed that not everyone was an insufferable sunshine pumper.
I started shitposting during the frustrating 2014 season because of that attitude and got permabanned. Think my last post was that Pharoah Cooper should start at QB over Dylan Thompson.

I just miss that dude who used to post a lot that posted a ton of recruiting info.

Yeah, I think about some of the former regular posters. scrooster pops up from time to time but isn't a regular like he used to be, CarolinaGirl passed away, CayceCock used to do all the baseball stuff on here and the SECr but I haven't seen him around for years, CNB comes and goes, etc.

You can still find scrooster on the poli board but I don't recommend entering that place.

I post on occasion looking for sanity but am mostly disappointed.
Several team boards had solid posters but the old SEC East schools seemed to have lost the most quality posters on the team boards.

All of the above. I go to provide some reality checks sometimes. It's fun to poke the bear. But they are for sure lost in the red sauce in there.
