Running up the middle on 1st and 2nd down every drive will do that to you

It was honestly really peaceful out there.

Checking the highlights, holy hell the defense was delivering some hard hits on that poor UK QB

Feels like this is rinse/repeat with OC's around here. Usually good things happen after, but id rather not be in the disappointing phase before we make changes.

Look at the bright side. The Carolina-Clemson game will be for bowl eligibility, just like the good ole days.

Part of me understands the initial approach. If you're going to hire an OC, I can understand letting him do his own thing and see what happens. But, as you mentioned, Beamer should've learned his lesson by now that he needs to have marching orders for his OCs when they get in the door to coach a certain kind of offense.

Well, the Gamecocks are dead last in offense in the sec through 5 games.

There is enough of a sample size at this point to make some judgments.

Shula has got to figure some things out. This is not 100% on the players. This without a doubt falls on coaching.

Tree being put in has solidified the right side of the line. I have no idea what in the world. The coaches were thinking about by not playing him theq first three games.

I can't find the quote now but Sunday night he got asked about if Shula had taken the leash of sellers and his running. He basically said, Sellers did all that on his own and those were not called plays.

I wonder if that was his plan, or if he just got mad they threw the ball at his grandpa. I hope he keeps it up. he looked like the sellers of old

Unrelated but question for all yall

Am I crazy for thinking that Harbor will and should end up as a TE in the NFL? His route running is average, great blocker, good speed and size.

Guys, let's try to use the forum to discuss the team instead of cramming discussion into a single thread...

We have 4ish people that comment on this board regularly....all the discussion in this thread has been about this team or the players on this team... Dont anchor this thread to the bottom of the page...

Lonnie can you please move this thread back to the top of the page....

Beamer has lost me. His sideline interview with Alyssa Lang did him in for me.

Instead of answering the question about what sc could have done to score down there in the first quarter, he turns it around and blames the defense...

The guy cannot take criticism and turns everything around to benefit what he wants to say.

He can go take a hike..go..now..

I was really disappointed with his post game reply to Jack Veltri.

I have really defended the guy, and still have a glimmer of hope that he can be the guy...but not as long as Shula is here. Shane needs to stop shielding his assistants, and needs to make a move

Which, the crazy thing is, he has a tie to Kendall Briles now with our AD. If he fired shula he would win back the fanbase (for now). If he hired Kendall he would win them back over.

That said, I am not going to sit here and defend him anymore. Crazy how quickly he lost us all

I don't think it matters who the OC is as long as Shane is going to demand we run a pro style offense. We don't have the players nor never will to run it. It's looking like Shane is more like dabo in all the bad ways.

What's worse is he didn't even need to have an answer to him. All he had to say was "You know Jack, I don't know but the offensive production is unacceptable and I'm going to fix it." Period. That's all he had to say.

We're watching a train wreck in slow motion. The only thing that's going to win me back over is winning and I don't see that happening.

Thank God Tanner is no longer the AD. We're about to see if Donati is all he's cracked up to be.

Same mistakes game after game. That's all on the coaches. Time to move on from Beamer
