For some reason I think we cover. We played them tough as hell in Athens 2 years ago. Maybe 31-14 or 34-17.

Yeah, you guys always seem to slow the game down and keep it closer than most anticipate. I don't see a change this year.

This is a shame. He is the one that stuffed Kevin Harris at the goal line during the spring game. Kid showed some potential. Although a bright spot, our LB position group is looking much better than a year ago. I still hate to lose this kid.

So sick of this me first attitude....I really thought Ryan had rubbed off on the team....but this kid, who was gonna start most likely next year wants to leave cause he isn't getting PT as a true freshman....I do think Brown is a superior LB, and kaba will be starting game 1 next season at Brunson's spot.....and if I ever hear y'all say RNE is full of busts again I'll flip....Mark Barnes had to go home in Florida to take care of his family, then tried coming back, went on to be a great OLB for Newberry College.....Rodney Paulk would have been all world had he not had his knee injuries.....and TJ Brunson has had to play both OLB AND MLB at the same time..his whole career til this year. RNE also gave us Ryan Bethea, who to this day IMHO is the greatest reciever to ever play for us

Sorry for the rant but these are guys I know and love...esp Barnes, don't label him a bust cause he left, y'all don't know the real reason....Barnes caught 1 pass on 1 target and if was a 31 yard td against Kentucky I think...it's been a whilr

I was also in boot camp at Parris Island for all of the 2007 season. Which I told my recruiter, who was a Carolina grad in 05, 07 was gonna be the year,if we could avoid the classic Carolina loss.....07 no vandy we are a BCS team....'11-13 we are too....in 13 had we not lost to Tenn we likely play for the Natty and win

Ryan had the potential to be the best but like most of RNE was a thug.

I see you have been away for awhile. RNE is now the " Thug" school of richland district 2. It is the worst performing school in that district. I went to Columbia High , which has become a Thug school, but it was a good school when I went through. Both neighborhoods around RNE and Columbia High are both now low income trash neighborhoods.

I agree that RNE has gone to shite, but to refer to the e guys who played for us from RNE like Mark and TJ as thugs is asinine....mark had to take care of family and never once got in any trouble ever, and TJ is no thug.....Rodney was and still is a model citizen as he is a Green Jeans Game Warden now. Mark is coaching, and TJ is still an athlete here, who we never have a problem with...so your typical RNE thug comment was out of line.

Pretty sure I said Beatha was a thug like most of rne not all of rne and he was the only player i stated that about. Ryan was a thug no 2 ways about and rne is full of gangs now. Sorry the truth hurts you.I was talking about the school as a whole not jusy the athletic department.
