My brother in law went to FSU. He has no idea where they are getting that money.

From my understanding when you owe someone a buy-out it isn't due at the time of termination, but over the remaining time that he would have been under contract. So if he had three years left, it would be payed over those three years. I could be wrong though.

The word I'm hearing is that the boosters set a goal of raising the $17mil needed for his buyout and they ended up raising $20mil.

Good for them. I think you can only get behind an amount of money that large if you have a big candidate waiting in the wings to take the job.

I think we only lost to UGA four times in a row, right? 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 I think. I know we have lost to Clemson five strait, but I don't think anyone thinks we break that one. They will be fully healthy, and we might be down everyone at our current rate lol.

I thought senior night was always the last home game of the season
LINK

And yea, it was 4 straight for UGA prior to our win

you are correct. the streak to UGA felt like 5 years, hell - more like 25.

I was gonna go with the 'Muschamp had lost 3 straight to UGA and won' ...but I'm searching for every evidence all the '5' streaks can end this season.

it's trending that way. hopefully Rico & Feaster will be helped by the bye week before the blood feud. Muse's injury leaves a significant void at TE in the passing game.

Or'Tre, Leggette & Edwards need to be on the field together going forward.

Do you guys think we're actually going to lose to App St? Been seeing this from a couple Gamecock fans on the main SEC Rant board.

It's very well a possibility. With it being at home I think we prevail but I agree with IBG if we lose that might be the end of Muschamp.

Where did you hear that? From GamecockCentral:

quote:

South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp officially ruled Tavien Feaster out for this Saturday's matchup with Appalachian State and said on his call-in show Thursday that junior wide receiver Shi Smith is questionable for the game.

Feaster was hobbled with a groin injury this past weekend against Vanderbilt, but could be back next week against Texas A&M.

Is it me or does everyone that comes to South Carolina and plays football for this team get hurt? Never heard of Feaster getting hurt at Clemson.. maybe he did, but it just seems like it's always us.
