With regard to the women's game tonight against Miss State ... best crowd I have been a part of in over 35 years tonight. Loud, crazy, large, very supportive. Reminded me of the crazy old Frank days.

One game left, and we can lock up sole ownership. 2 years in a row the Ladies have won the SEC Reg Season. Coach Staley is doing big things.

impressive win for Carolina today. Frank Martin has 5 days to prepare for a just whipped in Lexington, Arkansas - in Columbia.
Women play at Kentucky Sunday 5pm ESPN2. Gamecocks already secured the SEC Championship and #1 seed in Little Rock. Staley trying to become one of a handful of coaches in SEC history to complete the season undefeated.

There were two huge misses that cost us this game. Thornwells clanker attempt at a dunk and then Johnson's 2 missed FT's with under 3 minutes. Either one of those scenarios would've ended up with points, and we would've won that game.

Yeeeeeep. You knew we were definitely in trouble after the two missed FT's by Ty. Then of course he gets cramps on the very next defensive possession.

Listened to the 2nd half on the radio while at the game, didn't seem pretty but glad we battled through adversity and won it. Excellent road win.
Now we just have to win at least 1 game at the SECT to finish .500. Gives us a chance at the NIT at least
