That's the quote, and it's true, kinda. But there's more to the story. OU would have given their left nut for Daniels, and he has reason to put this on the OU coaches. And there was a time when he did intend to go to OU. But they only backed off after it became clear that he was going to A&M.

Their only other safety is a 3* who's next best offer is Okie St, Mizzou, or Arkansas. He committed in March. Unless one of their corners is expected to be a CB. however, they're all much lower ranked.
