Where was he supposed to be going lol

1 - why WOULDNT he? He’s a true So and CANT go pro. Seems like a waste of a year to transfer and sit.
2 - Not sure I care if he leaves other than for depth.

that was my first reaction...but glad he's back

Great...hopefully we will stop trying to run him off tackle and get him space.

He posted the same on his IG account. Zeus replied its mandatory and Swift replied "on everything." Many fans asking Swift if he's coming back.

I'm confused on why this was necessary.

I think you guys are misinterpreting. When he says “back,” it’s in regard to back playing in the championship.
People take it as he’s not transferring because he didn’t play like they wanted him to and he says he is coming back...when in reality, he had no real option to leave and play.

The problem is his lack of size and speed. He's very agile and gets to his top speed very quickly, but he's not the typical UGA back. I hope Milton sticks to his pledge or our backfield will be a shell of what's it's been the last decade.

Yeah, I agree. Could he be utilized more and more effectively? Sure. But I don’t see him making an impact in the games we lost. He got his opportunities vs. LSU and was unable to create any sparks.
Our backfield will be different next year for sure. Not sure what to expect.

He decided against the XFL draft I guess

It was necessary because our offense completely mismanaged his playing time this year. We basically have a younger version of Alvin Kamara on our hands and we had no idea what to do with him

Cook was one of the bright spots in the game; he's an elusive runner. But his "return" is anything but a surprise and I don't expect him to be a difference maker next season.

I'd like to see him become a Godwin-type receiver.

I dont think he is that good.
He beat a defender one on one against LSU on the perimeter on the right sideline. That is the first time all season he did that against a decent opponent.
He also missed a cut lane outside on another run on the left side. He charged into the heart of 3 defenders instead of running to space on the left.
Maybe he will get there next season. But he hasnt really flashed elite at all. Playmakers make plays. If he deserves more touches, he needs to show why.
