Well actually LSU told Jimbo no!! He was ready to come in 2015, but the governor wouldn’t let LSU fire Les Bc of bad PR. State had just cut some funding to universities and it was a bad look to pay a football coach 10 million to leave And hiring a new coach for 7 million.

Word from BR media is that the boosters don't want Jimbo to even get a phone call. Supposedly the way that Jimbo and Sexton handled the situation last time was so "off putting" that they don't even want his name mentioned. Obviously TFWIW.
