I'm impressed that our true fish qb and back up qb have the stat that they do for passing yards per game

Even with the abyssmal Colorado performance.

Game 1: 292 yards (all King)
Game 2: 191 yards (King had 8)
Game 3: 275 yards (all Calzada)

That comes out to an average of 253 yards per game.

Our rushing yards allowed have plummeted.

Game 1: 45 carries for 226 (5.02 ypc)
Game 2: 38 carries for 171 (4.5 ypc)
Game 3: 36 carries for 89 yards (2.47 ypc)

Take out the Kent State game and our rush defense ranking jumps 26 places. Use only the NM game and it jumps to 26th. Unfortunately, Kent State still happened.

A&M cult is like a prison. They call their freshman “fish.” As in “fresh fish.”

COVID rules. Every player that redshirted in 2020 doesn't count that year towards eligibility. King still has 5 years to play 4.

It's nice to see our team mentioned for once in a blue moon, but this was an OOC schedule and we won't know til we play in conference where we stand.

Thanks for posting this.

Data points don't usually mean much until after week 3-4.

All that needs to be said about our 2021 season.

Awesome. An offense ranked where it should be and a defense not ranked in the 120’s. I’ll take it! Even if the defense finishes 75ish overall we should be hell on wheels for the rest of the schedule. We scared a lot of teams with the 2nd to worst defense in the country last year, so adding a couple of stops per game is something I’m in for.

Not me. Our OL is abysmal. Cannot move the LOS. Cannot pass protect. We are doing as well as we are in pass offense because of the skills at QB and the wideout.

If we had even got a modicum of OL play during UCLA we could have pulled that one out.

Our rush defense is absolutely pathetic. Literally the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s so bad it actually makes our DBs look worse than they are because PA is so effective.

If we had anything resembling even a middling rush defense we’d have a pretty damn good team…but alas

I was being facetious.

Game 1: we start a guy that's never started before.

Game 2: essentially the same scenario minus 2 "drives"

Game 3: we finally have someone with more than 1 career start.

Our passing statistics could have been better if it weren't for that fiasco

Based on the aggregate Kentucky 6th in the SEC. I'll take it.

noticing that auburn and arkansas are top 5 pretty much across the board, and the only teams in all of those that have played a ranked opponent while being there. A&M has played 3a high-school teams.

Only Auburn has played a currently ranked opponent and it was the worst game of their season. Arkansas played a RANK opponent in week 2.
