To be honest, assuming Texas joins SEC fairly soon, I’m looking forward to it

But not for the reason because they’re a big brand or alabama will get to beat up on some pompous dickhead fanbase etc.

I’m really excited for Steve and what he could do there. He seems to be one of Nick’s better assistants in terms how much he took in and the general understanding of the institutional side of things it takes to uphold a successful program.

I’ll always think the Texas fanbase is a bunch of burnt orange cock suckers, but Steve is the perfect guy for the program. Yeah, he’s had his ugly moments, but if you ever hear redemption stories from certain athletes in the NFL after their careers when they got in big big trouble in college, kind of makes you feel good. Assuming they didn’t do anything too awful. Some people grow up not knowing any better. In Steve’s case, he needed a midget to whoop his arse for 2 years.

Did Nick ever yell at Steve? I don’t think I ever saw Nick get in his grill and give him the business about one of his calls.

I think Nick Saban actually respected Sark who was not nearly as immature as Lane was.

I am really excited to see what he can do.. IMO he hit a home run with his staff hires.. Obviously he has to make it work on the field, but so far so good..

Both were really good for us and I’m glad we had them. But as a play caller I rank Sark above Kiffin.

Lane just has too much "me" in him while Steve is more about the efficient of the system.
