Top Transfer targets and rumors

There are rumblings that the Pitt transfer 6'6" G, Au'diese Toney, is basically a lock to Arkansas, so he is kind of the most natural Moody replacement.


Toney was averaged 14.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this season.

Apparently 6'2" G Xavier Pinson (Mizzou transfer) is also down to Auburn or Arkansas, with Muss pursuing him heavily. Pinson, though, could have to overcome the SEC's own transfer rule where inter-conference movers must sit out a year, no matter what. Lots of chatter that rule will be relaxed this year, but it's still a possible hurdle for someone who is already a JR.

2020-21 stats: 13.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, and 33.7% from 3.

There's also talk rumors on other boards that 6'6" Sr Eastern Illinois transfer G Marvin Johnson wants to come to Arkansas.

Johnson averaged 15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 45.5% from the field, including 26-of-85 from 3 for 30.6%, and 73.3% from the free throw line.
