I think Sumlin forgot how to coach around 2015. I would maybe bring him in as an analyst but no way would I give him a position coaching role.

I think he'd be a GREAT position coach, if he'd work as hard as he'd need to.

How many University AD's would let a HC pick and chose coaches that he knew were solid and needed a good break ?

We'd all have to admit it, Saban is killing it in recruiting ( coaches and players ).

The narrative that will fail here, is blah blah blah Chargers for Sark, Kiffin, Jones, ( possiblbly Sumlin) .

I mean, it's the TE/ST coach. That is the spot that is usually filled by the coach that is a better recruiter than coach. So if he can still recruit, he'll do well. Do you think he can still recruit in Texas?
