He not only couldn't beat out Hill but he didn't even beat out a true freshman QB in Doty.He didn't beat out Jake Bentley. Im not a Hilinski hater. I like the kid. But i cant see the coaches not playing him if he was the best of the 3. Not with jobs on the line.

I don't doubt that he did everything he could. Thats the point, the point is he's a dinosaur and what he knows how to do is play 90's football. His best friend hiring him along with Mclendon was just a bunch of UGA boys milking us.

In a post where Hilinski thanks everyone under the sun, you don't see your boyfriends name in there do you?

He really does love him some Bobo the Clown doesn't he? Kind of an odd dynamic going on there.

The only reason he wasn't the starter his freshman year chief is because he was a freshman coming in behind Jake Bently. You get why thats a pretty tough measuring stick right, or is that beyond your grasp? Tell you what, we'll all just hang out and wait for Hill and Bobo to set some records next season. I'm sure you'll be right.

Side note

2019[edit]
He made his first starting appearance in the second game of the season, a 72–10 win over Charleston Southern.[6] With Hilinski starting, the Gamecocks would set a school record 775 yards of offense, as well as a school record 493 rushing yards.[6] Next week, Hilinski would start in a home game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, a 47–23 loss, where he would complete more passes against Nick Saban's Crimson Tide than any other freshman quarterback.[7]

Hilinski started 11 games his freshman year, completing 58.1 percent of his passes. He finished with 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.[8]

Sounds like we've got a couple more guys leaving over the next few days (offense and defense).

Rumors of Dak and Robinson leaving are heating up. Well see if Beamer can keep them in the fold.

Dak should've been gone, not surprised though.

Kier Thomas reportedly entered. He lasted longer than Muschamp, and wouldn't have been back without Covid. I still would have liked to have him back.

For some reason it seems like Thomas has been here since Spurrier's last year

He never said he was transferring. The news folks had him doing it several times though. He should have been gone though. He was never going to get any playing time at USC under Chump.
