No. Those things happened. No need to deny them. Nor are they proof of me being right wrong or otherwise.
It must be sad to live in a “this OR that” world with no nuance and context.
Getting rid of Coley was a no brainer and I think even the most die-Kirby fans would have been scratching their heads if he had not.
Hiring Monken would be great...if Kirby had actually handed him 100% control over all offensive decisions. However, Kirby did not do that and continues to have his hands on the offense in general and the QB room specifically. The former is an educated guess, the latter is from Kirbys own mouth.
Think what you will, but you realize there are more than 2 color options in even the most basic box of crayons, correct?

Our personnel limitations are real, and whatever you say about kirby isn’t a hindrance. You are assigning blame in the wrong place.

Sure...this has been a jacked up season full of unexpected issues and unforeseen injuries. None of us know exactly what is going on behind the scenes. That much is true.
What we can actually SEE, and what Kirby has admitted to of his own volition, is that he hasn’t gotten his hands out of the QB room.
That alone, coupled with his past meddling, tells me that he hasn’t learned his lesson.
Either way, I’m not even sure why I decided to join the conversation at all. Apologies to you did and those whose sensibilities I have offended. Life is about to throw a lot of shite at all of us, and football isn’t a good enough reason to argue with people I don’t know.

How do we know that Monken isnt picking the starters based upon his best options available to play?

The head coach should always be involved. That’s not the problem. You are whining just to whine. At least whine about legit problems.

Not going to read through the entire thread, but at least we aren't Tennessee. They go on to lose and over on VolNation are melting extremely hard. Seeing that gives me some perspective. If we are to run off every coach after a season that doesn't provide expectations we never will be able to achieve anything. Kirby will do a lot better if the fanbase isn't trying to on mount underserved pressure. Kirby has been an improvement from Mark Richt, lets be thankful

That decision is 5 years off. It will be a step backward most likely because Smart is very good. He just isn't good enough and that is OK. Only 2-3 teams have a shot at a natty any given year, UGA will be one of them every 6-8 years or so.
