A video I created back in 2016. This was the last time the Tennessee Volunteers defeated Alabama on the field of battle. The Crimson Tide led 13-6 going into the final quarter of play but, in true Mike Shula fashion, the Tide ran out of steam in the final quarter of play - allowing Tennessee to score 10 unanswered points to win the game by a score of 16-13.

Yep even Shula's bad teams didn't really get blown off the field often (2003 LSU is one of the few that comes to mind). I think Dubose's three mediocre-bad years were the only times y'all got blown out on the reg (we still went 2-2 against him )

Why are you making highlight videos of Tennessee beating Alabama?

They're such rare occurrences, they need to be documented and preserved, like when Halley's Conet comes round.

I mean it's kinda fascinating to watch. Feels like a different universe.

I make highlights for both wins and losses.

And to think, half the Alabama fan base wanted Shula retained and vehemently defended him. Probably the same fans who reject the idea of Dabo coaching Bama but would support Jim Mcelwain or Jeremy Pruitt succeeding Saban...

I mean the scholarship limitations would've been difficult for any coach to overcome. I feel like y'all didn't fully do so until 2009

I remember that Tennessee team. I watched Arkansas with Dmac and Jones kick the absolute shite out of them
