If we aren't comparing our similar plays to what worked at Bama, we crazy.

Need a running back with sure hands for one.

Rb with sure hands would be McIntosh and Cook if he’s healthy though Cook worries me after the catch with fumbling. I hope we’re more creative with Zeus for his sake and not quite as many dives. They serve a purpose but u think we went up the middle a bit too much.

I was surprised how open some of the Miss receivers were. Nothing in the play calling or play design, they were just not covered. Miss ran right at them with great effectiveness. I could not believe I was watching a Saban defense. Saban in his post-game seemed to be at a loss for what his defense looked like.

Bama’s D line wasnt getting their normal push. Their LBs were getting caught firing the wrong gap as well as not getting back into coverage on the play action. Ole Miss was getting some push on the O line too which really affected Bama’s LBs.

I liked the rope-a-dope conservative runs on 1st and 2nd downs before gashing Bama on 3rd down at the half end.

Ole miss went 4/4 on 4th down, of course they had to do this because they’re lacking on defense.
Georgia has a great defense so I don’t think they’ll need to chance it as much but the point is you need to have those moments in the game where your side shows you’re here to win the game. You start showing them respect and think you’re going to beat them by playing defense, it only feeds their ego.

You could see it in Kiffin’s face, he knew he lost when they were forced to go for a field goal late in the game on 4th and long instead of continuing to pressure with conversions and touchdowns.

Pressure, pressure, and more pressure.

The delays with the TE or RB coming across the wide open middle killed Bama all night.

We're not going to be able to wear Bama's DL down by runs straight up the middle. Their conditioning alone isn't going to let that happen. Not unless we dominate TOP and they happen to break down in the last 5 mins of the game.

If there's a game where Monken opens up the playbook, it had better be this one.
