Spiller for A&M ran for 117 yards. Other than that, no one topped 100. I wonder when the last time so few SEC players have rushed for 100 yards in a week. It can't happen that often.

Fwiw Harris for Alabama ran for 98 and I imagine did not get many carries in the second half and otherwise he also would've topped 100.

I don’t think Harris was in after the 9 minute mark in the third quarter.

Its amazing how the narrative is that Auburn's running game is its weakness when they literally didn't try to run. No back rushed over 8 times Saturday. Auburn's TOP was 23 minutes compared to UK's 37.

I was looking at the box score for the Auburn-Kentucky game and noticed that. Why is that? Is this the automatic influence of Morris who maybe wants to pass first, or was there some other reason why Auburn didn't try to establish the run?

Also, do you anticipate that Auburn will try to run more and milk the clock on offense this Saturday, or do you anticipate a similar strategy as the Kentucky game?

I don't get it, but for some reason Gus seems to have given up on his old love of having a powerful running game. Is Chad the same way?

Kylin Hill had 34 yards rushing and 158 yards receiving. That is 192 total. We're good with that.

Maybe your coach knew it was a weakness and went to the air instead?

I think having a quarterback as talented as Nix, plus seeing what pass oriented offenses at Alabama, Clemson, and LSU have done over the past few years has led Gus to a shift in offensive philosophy.

We’ll see if it pans out.

To be honest under Gus we have never legitimately established the run early in the 1st couple games. It normally happens in game 4 or 5 when Auburn finds their bellcow back.

I expect Auburn to be similar in their aggressive passing strategy.

As far as the running game expect more End Arounds, Jet sweeps and we will probably introduce the Wildcat formation as well. We didnt do any of that vs UK.
