What will each teams excuse be, when they aren't where they thought they would be?

For LSU, if it goes poorly it’ll either be because Brennan didn’t pan out or attrition sapped our depth.

I usually just go with "Meh - team sucks. Always has, always will." It's worked this long. Really see no reason to change.

Why do you think that the first game this year is any different than other years?
They pushed the season back a full month, plenty of time to practice and train.
I don't see any differences other than the date.

There are new HCs that are trying to figure out how to get this to work and Kirby Smart is not a new HC. So you need to give the newly hired HCs a chance to get comfortable with the unusual situation that is happening right now.
