How do the potential opt outs change Florida's trajectory for the season?

Per Florida reporter Edgar Thompson, WRs Kadarius Toney, Trevon Grimes and Jacob Copeland, as well as DE Zachary Carter, were absent from the practice.

By all accounts these guys were slotted to be major contributors this season. Isn't UF already dealing with a lack luster OL? I can't imagine losing some of the top play makers at the skill positions on top of the OL situation helping their cause. If the above players opting out ends up being true then it would seem that UGA is the clear #1 & the #2 spot in The East is up for grabs. What does this do for their trajectory? This seems like a huge hit for UF if this ends up playing out.

I really don’t think anyone has any clue how good anyone will be this season.

But losing 3 of your best receivers doesn’t help.

I'm convinced the only reason we (UK) haven't had a ton of opt-outs is because they see potential for a really special season with what is returning.

You have to think this shakes the East up quite a bit if it ends up playing out.

4/5 top WRs from last year gone, and top 3 gone entering this year.

Pretty much catastrophic. Think what UGAs offense went through last year but with a worse OL and defense.

UF is at best 8-2.

Franks opted out last season and it actually improved them. You never know how these things are gonna shake out.

No official word that they have opted out for the season, just were not a practice. If they do, next man up!

It would be a disaaster. I think personally they are just holding out until they know the season is actually happening. No one has officially opted out I don't think except for maybe Toney.

Kinda depends on if we are the only one this happens to. If it is then it would totally derail what was set to be a good season. 8-2 would be extremely optimistic. I’m thinking more on the lines of 6-4/7-3

From a swirlie in a gas station men’s room to a swirlie in a Bonaroo portapotty.
