It’s obvious what happened and everyone knows it. Saban cried long and hard about having to rotate Florida in this year and Florida obviously seconded the motion. The SEC commish uses a “back to back” excuse but was dumb enough to not address Arkansas back to back trips. SEC throws LSU a bone for having to put up with this shite for 30 years...

It was said for weeks that they were considering bumping up your next two cross division opponents. Saban then cried on a zoom conference call in a last plea to the commish... Told commish it wouldn’t be fair to play Florida and Georgia in the same year especially after they already have Auburn and LSU on the schedule... Said that would be equivalent to playing an LSU type schedule. Commish acquiesced after his daughter was promised a hellcat charger...

I don’t understand why so many people outside of Tuscaloosa are concerned about Bama's schedule.

Because some people would like everyone to play the best all the time...

Kinda looks like LSU got off light.

LSU was given preferential treatment, for once. I'd rather play Florida, South Carolina, Missouri and Vanderbilt than Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri.

LSU got off light with the reschedule but Bama got off lighter considering that Bama was going to have 2021 opponent Florida bumped up.

I would have much preferred a Tennessee matchup than playing another game at Vandy. Again proves the point about “back to back” scheduling concerns. LSU was at Vandy last year and now goes back again... Bama didn’t want Florida this year baw...

No what happened was the SEC was protecting their current big dogs. The ones with the best chance at a championship and likely to bring in the most money to be spread among the member schools. Its that simple.
