Will the SEC work out a deal to schedule them some "money games?" I can't think of another reason, they would be taking massive financial losses by holding just a conference schedule. Time for us to get some payback vs the men of Troy, not sure if Tenn wants a rematch with Georgia State yet though

These programs were barely treading water with the massive payout games though. What are they gonna do without them?

USA was supposed to play in a new stadium this season and just upgraded facilities. Also had a very good recruiting class relative to the conference.

Now they are just going to hang it up? They are going to lose their arse.

They might make a killing if they’re the only college football to watch

because they're in the Southeast. Notice the conferences leading the charge to play come from the same general area (the SEC, Big 12, ACC, and I guess we can ad the Sun Belt)

They are going to get that Thursday 7pm money from ESPN and noon football from Fox to get them through this year. B10, MTN, and P12 are doing them a favor cancelling.

Most of the AAC schools are located in conservative states as well. Only that aren’t are Temple and Cincinnati. You’ll notice the stances of conferences has a pretty steady correlation with party lines in the states where teams are located. This issue has nothing to do with player safety and everything to do with politics.

This a huge opportunity for them.

There will be programs fold over this and the PAC 12 is done as a conference.

Have a club-level booster in the office. They are playing. Already getting looks from Espn for thursday nite slots.
25% seating capacity, several opt-in, opt-out plans for season ticket holders.
