It has been reported that Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne and revered Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban met late into the night Sunday in discussions concerning the University's response if NCAA football is cancelled this season due to COVID19.
It is expected, per unnamed University sources, that should the season be cancelled, the Crimson Tide will claim their 18th national championship. Discussion centered around the issue that "the Tide" would have as much claim to the 2020 National championship as it did to several of the other titles claimed by the University after the fact.
