Devonta definitely wasn’t processed but I think if Ohio state had prioritized him more he might have stayed - allegedly anyway. It’s probably all bullshite spin.
Either way he’s very highly regarded by some Ohio high school scouts that I trust and I personally hate that Ohio State lost him.
That being said, we’ll be fine. We do need to find another true corner however.
ETA Jordan Hancock is and will remain the target but obviously that’s a long shot. Don’t think they love grimes as much as the ranking gurus. I know they also really like jahntzen Dunn out of Kentucky and he will probably get a shot at corner

Bama recruited Hancock pretty hard, but didn't really pursue Grimes. Imo, Dunn looks like an excellent CB prospect -- there's a lot to like about him already, with pretty high upside too. This post was edited on 6/27/20 at 2:06 pm

I agree on Dunn his film is nice. Seems nobody is as high on Grimes as the scouts are.
