Interesting that LSU doesn't have an Instagram account, and that A&M is so low despite having so many students and alumni.

Crazy to see that Mizzou is 10th in the SEC but would be 5th in ACC, 4th in Big XII(close to 2nd) and 4th in Big Ten. Also first in AAC.
Crazy to see Mizzous FB followers is more than Ole Miss as a whole.

I have no clue where they got this info from but it’s wrong. LSU’s football IG has 780K followers and Arkansas’ only has 143K despite being listed as over 180K on this list.

Ohio State isn’t surprising. Massive enrollment, blue blood program, and the only major program in a populated state
ETA: Wait Alabama football has almost 1 million followers on twitter

This is probably like an athletics department account as a whole.

I know there’s a lot of competition in California, but USC surprises me.

Yea. I think they only counted the @*insert_school*athletics accounts instead of the sport-specific accounts.
Not sure about other schools, but LSU doesn’t really market its @LSUSports accounts. ETA: seems like this may be the case with most programs too

For those doing personal QA checks to verify the numbers, the numbers are for the entire Athletic Department’s social media account, not football.
For example, I just checked twitter:
@LSUSports - 225.9k followers
@LSUfootball - 808k followers
