As high school players they aren’t comparable. Henderson averaged around 6 boards a game in high school and frequently was benched for not playing defense
If you can’t score then you won’t play for Muss once he gets his players in here

I'm just talking scouting, both are very closely ranked out of HS as top 100 players.
EH in year 3 very likely continues to start. Vanover is too weak on D to not offset it with someone strong on D.

Eh, Vanover is going to be fine overall. He isn't going to be great in pick and rolls but he will more than hold his own down low. If Jaylin can prove he has a decent shot outside the paint and can rebound, I would be shocked if he isn't getting more mins by the midpoint in the year vs Henderson. We need guys that can space the floor at all positions if possible. Of course, all three of those guys will be rotating around the 4 and 5 spots depending on foul situations.
If I had to guess what the line up looks like by SEC play I would guess at
Sills
Joe
Jones
Williams
Vanover
If Moody proves himself, we could easily have Moody, Mason and Joe in the first three spots with no "true" point guard. I don't think we will ever start the game like that though.

Yes, the switches will be rough for Vanover. They subbed him out late in games at Cal. He pretty much goes to a spot near the rim and doesn't move.
Obviously he has improved some I'm sure, but nothing you can do about foot speed/quickness at 7'3".
Robinson for Sills, Moody spells Joe/Jones.
Of course we'll have a grad transfer likely and they could start or they could be Cylla 2.0.

Overall one of the strangest things of the season. When you look at how he played in the past, it seems like a great fit and probably still is but he just never really got anything going. He was also asked to do something he really didn't specialize in because of what we lacked on the inside.
31% from deep last year with over 100 attempts
15% from deep this year with 13 attempts
Sample size is small but he never gave Musselman a reason to play him more.

I agree. He was on multiple impact transfer lists preseason.

As upset as I am right now, I can't imagine what I would feel like if my team was a legit National Championship contender. Especially the ones that are not regular names.

Yep
Rutgers wasn't going to win the NC but they had a like thirty something year old streak of missing the tournament. Really sucks at this point because imo the cancel announcement is coming, not the suspension/postpone announcement.
