Can Pure Pocket Passers still be successful?

Seems like most of the top performing QBs in college (Burrow, Fields, Lawrence, Hurts, Tua, Murray, Mayfield, etc) and the NFL (Wilson, Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Rodgers) recently have all shown the ability to move the ball on the ground and through the air. Not saying every QB needs to have top flight speed, but most it seems to me that the days of pure pocket passing QBs (guys like Peyton Manning) being the top dogs in football is coming to an end. Do you think teams can still be successful with QBs who prefer to only stay in the pocket, or do you need a guy who can use his legs now?

Peyton Manning would still be successful in today’s game.

Brady and Roethlisberger have been to a dozen Super Bowls, so yes pocket passers can be successful in the NFL.

They can succeed but the Oline must be very good. Athleticism in QBs is far more important than it was 10 years ago.

Bunch of short-sighted sports fans.

Very little these days. He's got some wiggle, but he is the prototypical pro style QB. He's just tough to be bring down.

Sure they can. Pocket maniupulation and the ability to extend plays is just as important.
