If that fat bastard hadn't tried to play hardball with HY, we'd probably have a bloated fratboy as head coach right now instead of what has become one of the more solid staffs in the conference.

To me the biggest pro to a potential Kiffin hire was the staff he could put together. Specifically getting Briles as OC. Never would've guessed we'd get a better staff with Pittman.

I think the big difference is, Pittman is probably one of the few coaches in CFB who people actually want to work for as opposed to using the position as a stepping stone to better their long run situation.

It's obvious.

Kiffin has always been an overrated prima donna. I suspect he'd fail at any P5 school.
