Dead serious. This appears to be catastrophic.
No I wont wait until we announce who it is.
If we really had our guy it would be announced already like Ole Miss and FSU.
Firing CM early didn't get us anywhere. Hell we should have just given him another year.

This is how it is. Last two coaches show this job is graveyard for coaches careers. Not hy fault. He got blocked by some backasswards big wig

He inherited a shitshow of a football program as well as the worst coach in SEC football history, and he shitcanned the latter in less than 2 seasons.
He made what looks to be a great basketball hire.
Right now he's basically out there trying to sell a dilapidated, infested roach trap house in a buyers' market. I don't envy his job right now.
Let him at least make one football coaching hire and have that flesh out before we deem him at risk. Ed Orgeron was a 'catastrophic' for LSU a few years ago.

He can't announce something that's not in place.
I told yall, my guy said there was no plan B for Lane... And it seems to be absolutely the truth.
I'm sure our dipshit BoT is scrambling together the a list of "their guys" now that HY blew the everloving shite out the Kiffin deal.
They were just waiting in the wings for it To fall through so they can make another Chad-like hire and Jerry and the other idiots get their way... Which, again will be a fricking disaster.
Irwin says they think High Freeze is too risky.. But follows it up by a booster quote to him saying "you can't dig out of this hole without taking a risk"
He's 100% correct.
Go get fricking Hugh Freeze to be a thorn in the side of Ole Miss for the next decade...

But no... We're going to hire Butch fricking Davis.

I don’t know, can he? It sounds like he was schooled by the OM AD, a guy who has been on the job all of two weeks, apparently for his one and only target.
FSU fired Taggert one week before we fired Morris, and it sounds like the got Norvell. Ole Miss didn’t fire their coach until after the season, they nailed down Kiffin. And here we are with our dicks in our hands, talking about hiring the first year coach from App State, Butch Davis, and Pittman.

I just don’t know what you expect him to do if coaches want to go to other places over here. We had no idea Kiffin would choose OM over us since they just fired their coach less than a week ago. The three week head start means nothing if coaches don’t want to discuss things during the season.

Sounds like Norvell and Kiffin were both talking to folks, doesn’t it? I mean, I don’t blame the guy for coaches not wanting to coach here, but either you are being strung along with absolutely nothing concrete to solidify their hire, or they are telling you they aren’t interested. It sounds like Norvell made it clear he wasn’t interested. But do you let Kiffin string you along, with nothing to back it up but a wink and a nod? What the hell is that about?
