But it is what it is. I really believe that we'll do our part. Will that be enough?

Probably not

None of us have a right to be upset about it either if we’re being honest.

Bama is at the mercy of no one. We’ve accomplished more in the past decade than most programs will in a century.

Hopefully we make the playoffs this year, but if not it’s not the end of the road. We’ll be back next year and in contention like always under Saban.

BUT, we just may get back into it this year anyways. Either way, I hope we finish this year strong.

Roll tide!

I'm ok with it. We can't win 'em all. If we sneak in, great. I'll be watching and cheering. If we don't, it's fine. I'm just going to be watching the basketball team to see what Oats can do in year one.

It is what it is. I’ve got my cheat sheet for the weekend ready. Pulling for:

Wake Forest over Clemson
Auburn over Georgia
Iowa over Minnesota
UCLA over Utah
Arizona over Oregon

Only game I’m not sure on is who to pull for in Oklahoma vs Baylor.

Stranger things have happened.

I'm going to be 100% honest. I'll be cool if we don't make the final 4, we've accomplished way too much to complain about a potential 1 loss season.

According to FPI for whatever that’s worth:

Wake over Clemson - 3%
Auburn over UGA - 52.6%
Iowa over MN - 60.8%
UCLA over Utah - 10.6%
Arizona over Oregon - 3.6%

So the ones we really need are the longest shots.

Jalen goes off but it's not enough and his defense lets him down, wins the revenge game.

#1 LSU, #2 OSU and #3 Clemson will most likely win out and stay ranked where they are now. The rest will all have one or more losses along with some close-call wins against meh opponents. We've dominated all of our opponents except LSU, and we actually outscored LSU 28-13 in the 2nd half. We already have the best loss (5 pts vs #1 LSU, with Tua playing injured). What we don't have is an impressive win.

That means Auburn over #4 UGA is the one we need most. If that happens we're probably in with a convincing road win over Auburn. Conference Champ is not as big of a factor as most people think it is -- because conferences are not equally difficult to win. Its only one of several tiebreaker factors between teams who are considered about equal based on resumés and eye test. Common opponent(s) is another tiebreaker factor. Auburn is a common opponent for Bama and Oregon.
